Born in Thessaloniki. In the 80s he was involved with Western music, studying theory, harmony, counterpoint and respective elemental composition and Modern Harmony in «Neon Odeon».
In 1994 he started Kanun lessons having as a teacher Thanasis Stergiou and Theory and Elements of Greek music with Basilis Vetsos at the School of Traditional Music «En Chordes». Since 1996 kemence with Nikos Tzanis and Saz (Bağlama) and Theory of Eastern music with Ross Daly. From 1997 onwards continued Kanun lessons in the form of tutoring or seminars with high reputation performers such as Halil Karaduman, Göksel Bakatagir, Ahmet Meter and Bahadir Şener. In 2004 she graduated from the Byzantine Music Conservatory «Galaxias» by Prof. Harry Symeonidis.
For 6 years with the virtuoso oud player Ziad Rajab from Syria, with whom he studied the properties of Arab Music. Founding member of the music group «Loxandra», which has made numerous appearances in Greece and abroad, as well as two albums. He has worked with Culture Associations, Dance Bands, the Folk Music Orchestra of Thessaloniki, the National Theatre of Northern Greece, and has participated in numerous radio-television broadcastings and recordings. He has taught Kanun and Eastern Music Theory at the Music Schools of Thessaloniki, Xanthi and Serres, in Conservatories, Traditional Music Schools and private lessons. His long-term work of on the Old Music of Thessaloniki, will soon be presented with the form of music diligence in musical and theatrical performances and documentaries.
